Registered office address: Unit 4 Heatley Mere Business Centre, Chaise Meadow, Lymm, Cheshire, WA13 9EL.  Your access to and use of Prestige Time Services' website and Prestige Time Services Limited is subject exclusively to all these Terms and Conditions.  You will not use the website and services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.  By using the website and for all transactions with Prestige Time Services Limited you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.  If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the website and services of Prestige Time Services Limited.

The contents of the website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.

The website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others.  Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.

5.1  All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in the Website and its content (including without limitation the website design, text, pictures, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the Website) are owned by or licensed to Prestige Time Services limited or otherwise used by Prestige Time Services Limited as permitted by law.

5.2  In accessing the website you agree that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder.  This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the Website for personal, non-commercial home use only.

6.  DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1  The website is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

6.2  To the extent permitted by law, Prestige Time Services Limited will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatever (including without limitation loss of business, opportunity, data, profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website.

6.3  Prestige Time Services Limited makes no warranty that the functionality of the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.

6.4  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of Prestige Time Services Limited for death or personal injury as a result of the negligence of Prestige Time Services limited or that of its employees or agents.

7.  INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold Prestige Time Services Limited and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against Prestige Time Services Limited arising out of any breach by you the customer of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this website and Its services.

8.  SEVERANCE

If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

9.  GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10.  PRICE AND PAYMENT

10.1  Any price that stipulated on the Website is a guide only.  The price excludes VAT.  The price excludes delivery charges.

10.2  Payment of the price plus delivery charges must be made in full before dispatch of the repair or goods.

11.  LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

11.1   Except as may be implied by law where the customer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by Prestige Time Services Limited the remedies of the customer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods and Prestige Time Services Limited shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever.

11.2  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Prestige Time Services Limited for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of Prestige Time Services Limited or that of Prestige Time Services Limited agents or employees.

12.  WAIVER

No waiver by Prestige Time Services Limited (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its rights to do so in the future.

13.  FORCE MAJEURE

Prestige Time Services Limited shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and Prestige Time Services Limited shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.

14.  CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PRIVACY POLICY

Prestige Time Services Limited shall be entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by you the customer upon making a purchase if unless any breach by the you the customer of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this website and Prestige Time Services Limited services.

SERVICE AND REPAIRS

1.  ESTIMATES AND PROCEEDS
            
1.1  No work will be started before the repair/service has been fully assessed, the price verified and the customer has agreed either over the phone, email or writing thus proceeding the item for repair/service.

1.2  Although Prestige Time Services Limited carefully assess all repairs and services, Prestige Time Services Limited reserves the right to charge for any unforeseen work, further parts to complete the repair and any extra work that is needed.  The customer will be informed as soon as possible if this situation should arise.

1.3  Prestige Time Services Limited reserves the right to charge for any work that has been already carried out if the customer requests the item to be returned un-done after giving the instruction to proceed.  Normally 50% of the full-service cost plus return delivery.

1.4  On occasion, either due to the item needing further parts that need to be sourced, an unusually high volume of repairs or staff holidays and sickness, the repair time may be extended.  In such circumstances, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

1.5  From time to time or for specific watch brands we may provide online price guides and also provide free estimates via e-mail.  These estimates are given as a guide only.  They rely on the accuracy and quality of information given to us by the customer.  Prestige Time services limited is not responsible for any difference in online estimates and estimates in our workshop.

1.6  Telephone estimates are given as a guide only.  They rely on the accuracy and quality of information given to us by the customer.   Prestige Time Services Limited is not responsible for any difference in telephone estimates and estimates in our workshop.

1.7  Prestige Time Services offers free hands-on estimates in our workshop but reserves the right to charge for return postage should the customer not wish to proceed with any work.  See “Postal Charges And Information” below.  Customers can collect any type of repair/service from our workshop.  An appointment must be made prior to collection.  Prestige Time Services is not responsible for costs resulting from a wasted journey.

2.  MANUFACTURERS AND OUT WORKERS

2.1  Prestige Time Services Limited carries out all of the repair/service work in our workshop.  If for any reason this cannot be carried out in our workshop we may send their item to the manufacturers or a specialist for an estimate.

2.2  If the item is with the manufacturer/outworker this may increase costs and the repair/service time.  The customer will be kept informed of any changes as soon as possible.

3.  COMPLETED SERVICE AND REPAIR

3.1  Prestige Time Services Limited will contact the customer when the repair/service is completed to arrange payment.  No repair/service will be returned to the customer until full payment is made.

3.2  All “Service & Repair Guarantees” are valid from the date the repair/service is completed not the date the repair/service is received.

3.3  Prestige Time Services Limited reserves the right to sell or auction uncollected/unpaid repairs after a period of twelve months to recoup any money owed.  If this situation should arise the customer will be notified in writing one month before the twelfth month is up.

3.4  Prestige Time Services Limited guarantees all repair/services for a period of twelve months.  Every service will be returned with an invoice which is a service & repair guarantee detailing the work that has been carried out.  Vintage watches older than 30 years is guaranteed for six months.

3.5  No guarantee or warranty can be offered on small repairs and part jobs.

3.6  No guarantee or warranty can be offered other than the replaced seals on replacement battery and reseal jobs.  A guarantee on the replaced seals is 12 months.

4.  RETURNS, REFUNDS AND WARRANTY

4.1  Our service & repair guarantee, guarantees against defects arising from the repair/service undertaken.  Our guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage, components not fitted during the repair/service, components that have been recommended to be changed/repaired and becomes invalid if any unauthorised entry or attempted entry into the movement is made during the warranty period.

4.2  If a fault occurs within the warranty period we will endeavour to rectify the fault free of labour charge.  All postal costs incurred either to or from the customer are non-refundable.

4.3 Circuit boards and coils are not covered by our warranty.

4.4  Service and repair warranties are non-transferable.  If the watch is sold then the warranty becomes void.

5. UNPAID INVOICES

5.1  All invoices must be paid within 28 days.

5.2  Invoices which have not been paid in full after the 28 days are subject to a 20% administration fee of the total invoice amount.

5.3 After 6 months of non-payment the customer will be notified in writing and will be made aware of section 5.4 and 5.5

5.4 After 12 months of non-payment the watch or watches become the property of Prestige Time ServIces to sell to recover the costs of the unpaid invoice and administration fees, auction fees and commission fees. The customer will be notified again by letter at 11 months from the invoice date stating of such. They then have a further 28 days to pay but a 30% administration fee will be applied to the total invoice.

5.5 It's the customers responsibility to ensure that their contact details are correct at all times.

6. CARD PAYMENT SURCHARGES

6.1 Credit card charge of 2.5% will apply to all invoices. There's no charge for Debit cards.

POSTAL CHARGES AND INFORMATION

1.  POSTAGE TO US

1.1  We recommend you follow our postage instructions for posting repairs/services to us on our Postal Repairs page.

2.  RETURN POSTAGE

2.1  Prestige Time Services uses Royal Mail's Special Delivery for returning watches after repairs/services.  The usual cost of return delivery is £12.50 + VAT.  Prestige Time Services does not guarantee a time and date for when a parcel will arrive.  Special Delivery is only used because Prestige Time Services feels that this is the most secure and reliable method of posting our customers watches.  No refunds are available for late delivery.

2.2  However Prestige Time Services can return a repair/service by any other method the customer requests, this is at the customer's risk.

2.3  It's the customer's responsibility to check that the return address is correct upon receipt of an invoice. Any errors must be notified via email before any payment is made.  Please email: info@prestigetimeservices.co.uk

2.4  The compensation level chosen is ultimately the customers choice and Prestige Time Services is not responsible for any loss or damage to the parcel/goods during transit if the chosen postage is inadequate or the compensation available is less than the value of the parcel/goods.

2.5  Prestige Time Services does not accept responsibility for any parcel/goods once the parcel/goods have been delivered and signed for by anyone.

2.6  It's the customer's responsibility to make sure they are able to sign for their parcel/goods at the address indicated on the invoice.

2.7  Prestige Time Services will not post to third party parcel/mail handling shops, companies or premises.

2.8  Prestige Time Services will only post to residential addresses or the customers verified work premises.

2.8  Prestige Time Services cannot be held responsible if a parcel is posted to works address and it's signed for by any alternative member of staff, post room or security gate staff.

2.9  Prestige Time Services will not post to third party parcel handling shops, companies or premises.

3.0  Prestige Time Services cannot always notify when a parcel/goods will be delivered.
