Our Rolex accredited watch repair workshop features some of the latest tools and equipment from manufacturers in Switzerland and around the rest of the world including Rolex. We also have traditional tools which are no longer manufactured. We are in a purpose built bespoke workshop with natural daylight, a climate controlled environment and we have specialist built fume cupboards for all our cleaning machines. We are not situated in a bedroom of a house or in a converted garage and our workshop is fully insured by T H March. We believe that all this makes us stand out from other competitors in watchmaking, servicing and repair. Our watchmakers are not tucked away in a small, dark, dusty room working by candle light repairing watches using only a few hands tools.
Please take a look at our new photos of our workshop and you will see our dedication to achieve high quality watch repairs in our modern workshop.
This is our latest timing machine. It listens to each part of the escapement and this enables us to regulate your watch very accurately. It is also compatible for the Omega Co-Axial escapement.
This is our latest Rolex water resistance machine. Its manufactured by Rolex for testing the water resistance of their Oyster cases. It heats the watch case to a predetermined temperature, then the glass is rapidly cooled to generate a heat shock that will form condensation inside the glass if there is any water inside the watch case. Any watch repair company that repairs Rolex watches has to have this machine.
Polishing is very important to us so we are constantly updating our machines, mops and techniques to give the perfect finish!
We have updated our watchmakers lathe by removing the old fashioned foot pedal and replacing it with the latest electronic speed controller and this will helps us achieve accurate turning tolerances with its constant speed and torque settings.
We have purchased the latest watch Water-Resistance-Tester by Sigma in Switzerland. SM-8850/20 is equipped with the latest technology and developed to meet the highest watchmakers' requirements, this Water-Resistance-Tester has a range of vacuum tests and pressures tests up 20 bar to ensure your watch is tested correctly.
We recently had our professional watch cleaning machine serviced and re-wired. This machine by L&R USA uses an ultrasonic transducer in every cleaning jar to ensure that every individual part of the watch movement is cleaned perfectly. To buy a new equivalent machine today would cost around £10.000, so maintaining this machine is worth every penny.
This is our water resistance tester for Rolex watches. All our Rolex Oyster cases go into this vacuum tester after they have been polished, submerged in an ultrasonic tank, steam cleaned and new gaskets fitted.
This is our quartz watch tester. Every quartz watch is placed on here to have various tests before and after a service to ensure your watch is running correctly.
This is our glass bead blaster. Any watch case that needs a satin/matt finish goes in here to have an even finish put on the case. It uses compressed air to blast tiny glass beads onto the case at very high speeds. The original Tag Heuer F1 watches have a matt finish, we are using this blaster on a weekly basis to finish lots of watch cases.
